Fin del Mundo continue dropping single from their upcoming second studio album, ‘Hicimos crecer un bosque’ – out on 18th October 2024. Just a few weeks ago they released the track “Vivimos lejos” y we immediately thought: “they made in again!”. Well, yesterday they put out “Una temporada en el invierno”

If you follow the band closely, you’ll know that they’ve been playing it live for a while in their concerts. It was also included as part of the set-lists for Ciclo Árbolazul (Chile) and Los Conciertos de Radio 3 (Spain) live sessions. And keep an eye on their social networks, as on Friday next week (16/08) their showcase at Sesiones Bravas (Spain) is coming out.

“The title of the song is an almost direct allusion to ‘A Season in Hell,’ a poem by the French author Arthur Rimbaud. We wanted to introduce slightly more aggressive elements than usual… The tempo is quite high, and the guitars are covered in overdrive for most of the song. The lyrics refer to a mental conversation in which, from a meta-thought perspective, a person decides not to be carried away by ideas or memories that lead to demotivation. They already know how and where their true essence is expressed, and in that discovery, they consciously choose to remain true to themselves, despite the difficulties they will encounter along the way.Lucía Masnatta

Between 17th and 31st August, Fin del Mundo will be touring Europe for the second time, visiting different cities in France, Switzerland and, of course, Spain, where their popularity doesn’t stop growing.

Fin Del Mundo - European Tour 2024

After a live session for KEXP in Seattle (+1.5M views), in 2023 they signed with the Spanish label Spinda Records and released ‘Todo va hacia el mar’, a compilation album that included their two previous EPs for the first time in physical format, earning them praise from international media such as Rolling Stone (AR), Marvin (MX), The Obelisk (US), and Mondo Sonoro (ES). Despite being an independent band, they managed to appear on various official playlists of major streaming platforms and perform at international events like Lollapalooza Buenos Aires and Sevilla Monkey Week (where they won Radio3’s Battle of the Bands). In 2024, they joined the Fender Next program of the prestigious instrument brand, which supports the creation and distribution of independent music. The blend of styles and authenticity of Fin del Mundo‘s lyrics has made them one of the most promising bands on the international indie-rock scene today.
