London garage punk powerhouse Nothingheads drop new single ‘Blindspot’ and announce debut album ‘The Art of Sod’.
Blindspot is a three-minute ripper that’s over before you know what’s hit. The band say, ‘We wanted to write something that expressed the sadomasochistic satisfaction of anger outbursts. The howl of walking into a door frame and trying to make sense of the news, slightly painful, no idea who to blame and somewhat confusing’.
Having built up a reputation on the UK’s underground live circuit since forming in 2021, Nothingheads make guitar-driven soup that falls somewhere within dark post punk and garage punk. Static noise flashes as big riffs and snarling vocals cut through the dirge. Following last year’s EP ‘Sunlit Uplands’, the band will release their debut album, ‘The Art of Sod” on November 8th via Sister 9 recordings, preceded by a string of singles.
