Plizzken Released New Song “Enough Is Enough”

With two singles already out, PLIZZKEN have just dropped a brand new track called “Enough Is Enough” from their new album “Do You Really Wanna Know?” which is currently available on Pirates Press Records.

The song addresses the growing divide between social and economic classes in Germany along with a rallying cry to repel ideas of “autocrats, fascist ideas and racist madness.”

“In our part of the world, the dissatisfaction of the population is growing and politics are simply not able to get people to grips with the issues that really concern them. As a result, protests on the streets are growing, but not in a form worthy of the working class,” says frontman Sebi Walkenhorst.

”Enough Is Enough” follows the releases of the first two singles, “One More Time” and “Nassau Nightlife,” off of “Do You Really Wanna Know?” Ramtatta.de describes the record: “…the album is like the soundtrack of a beautiful evening in the Trinkteufel or in the Milchbar in Kreuzberg. You have a lot of fun  and late in the evening you think to yourself that you had a great time with great music coming from the speakers.”

“Do You Really Wanna Know?” continues the journey that Sebi, Silvio, Tommi, and company started during the pandemic with the release of their debut record. This new album demonstrates a more cohesive record with emotional storytelling and messages that the band hold close to their chest.

”The album as a whole tells a story for me and different themes of my view of living together in this society. As very positive people who carefully observe what is currently happening around them in terms of socio-political issues, it is despairing how deeply hate, greed, envy, and similar luxuries determine the way many people look. There is not much that is happening at the moment that lifts the mood, but music and our lifestyle bring us a bit of color in dark times,” Sebi remarks.
