NY-based grungy shoegazers Glimmer release their new single “Buried” and b-side “Daydream” today. Recorded in Brooklyn with Jeff Berner and mastered by Will Yip (Turnstile, Title Fight, Anthony Green), the two tracks are available to stream now on Spotify and Bandcamp.

Influenced in equal parts by modern acts like Nothing and Narrow Head and ’90s titans like Dinosaur Jr. and My Bloody Valentine, Glimmer’s sound incorporates elements of grunge, shoegaze, and hook-driven college rock. New single “Buried” features layers of fuzzed-out guitars and an explosive chorus, while reverb-soaked companion track “Daydream” shows off a softer side that gradually builds to a big payoff.

Glimmer has a handful of shows coming up this spring, beginning with a run of dates this week. You can find the band at @glimmerisaband for news & show announcements.
