The Distance are back with a new video for ‘I Thought You’d Take My Hand’ as they continue the warm up for their second full-length album.
‘I Thought You’d Take My Hand’ is the second single from the Spanish post-hardcore band’s upcoming new album, The Wound, due out this spring, on CD via Sliptrick Records, and LP via Engineer records, Runaway records and Sell The Heart Records.
Musically, this song stands out for its melody and rawness, which combines perfectly with the emotionality of its lyrics, that evoke a journey of loss and search for shelter in relationships that are no longer there. We also see this rawness in the self-edited video that accompanies the single.
The Distance is: Yamil Ghazi – Vocals/Guitar | Óscar D. Martí – Bass/Back Vocals | Julián Gil – Lead Guitar | Alberto Abad – Drums
