The Atom Age Releases New Self-Titled Album Via Asian Man Records

Bay Area garage-punk group The Atom Age released their bold new self-titled album digitally and on vinyl via Asian Man Records. The explosive 10-track ripper draws passion from genre forefathers of the ’60s and ’70s as well as early 2000s revivalists.

In the heart of the vibrant, DIY-driven Bay Area music scene, The Atom Age has made its name embracing the unfiltered ethos of punk and the raw, explosive energy of garage rock. The band’s raucous fusion of these scene mainstays has produced blistering rock anthems that stack their latest album front to back. The Atom Age will take listeners on a rollercoaster through a sonic landscape where nonconformity, anti-capitalism, and unfiltered artistic expression reign supreme.

From the penetrating buzzing of opening track “Honeybees” to the emphatic resolution of “Best Technique,” The Atom Age shows off the band’s talent for distilling social criticism and frustrations into a visceral and relentless onslaught of high-energy anthems that resonate with the unapologetically authentic.

The Atom Age is now available on digital streaming platforms and vinyl via Asian Man Records. The band will also kick off their US West Coast tour in November.

You ever feel like you were born too late? That sick feeling of missing out has been embedded in the Bay Area bellies of The Atom Age since they were just young rockers chewing on bubblegum. Whatever strange powers determined their “Johnny Come Lately” fate are still benevolent enough to allow The Atom Age to take a small part in what they love. The group may never find their perfect place in time, but maybe that’s the point. It’s why struggles of making exciting Rock ‘N’ Roll possess them, and like the best stuff from days past, it comes spit out as imperfect and as unpredictable as ever.
