The punk act, best known for its unique and characteristic sound that blends frenetic and raw hardcore with psychedelic rock, formed in Buenos Aires in 2014 and has released their recordings in the United Kingdom, USA, Italy, Chile, Colombia, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Costa Rica, Turkey, and Serbia. In a social media post on Wednesday, they confirmed that the band will be disbanding. “We had our last concert on December 11, 2021. From then on, we gave priority to other projects, and we did not summon our pagan hardcore again”, they said in a statement.
After disbanding, the group released a complete discography on a limited edition CD Book, with 56 pages filled with photos, original artwork, and detailed info. The CD comes also with extra material like images and unreleased videos never seen before.
Talacactus’ Complete Discography 2014-2019 can be streamed and downloaded in various formats from Bandcamp, including a PDF version of the book.
