Swedish duo LOW–RES now deliver the final cut to be lifted prior to their new album ‘Därför’, the pulsing new offering ‘Kitchen’.
Collaborating with Maria Pettersson and Calle Olsson (Paper, Paddington DC, The Bear Quartet) for the release, ‘Kitchen’ makes for a wonderfully broad and atmospheric listen. Channelling another heavy dose of that vibrant post-punk energy they have showcased throughout these last few months, their latest endeavour adds another fresh and vital addition to their eagerly-awaited new full-length.
Using an old DV camera from the 90s, the video for “Kitchen” gives you a picture of how the song was actually created — through a trip to a cabin in the woods where two people who barely know each other spend a weekend making music, in the kitchen. Music that later became the song “Kitchen.
