Invisible Men Released New Album “Re:Bored”

Invisible Men released Re:Bored, a brand new full-length album.

Hailing from the southeast of France, Invisible Men has been  stirring up the local scene since their formation in 2022. Their  infectious hooks and gritty riffs echo the golden age of Grunge,  but this rock quartet’s sound doesn’t stop there. Seamlessly  blending the lyrical depth of post-punk with the high-energy kick of power pop, they also infuse their music with a taste of  the Melvins’ sludge metal for the discerning rock connoisseurs. Antoine Puaux, known from his work with Narrow Terence and  Narco Terror, leads the band. His versatile vocals are a defining feature of this dynamic group, switching between gruff tones, anthemic refrains, and ethereal backup vocals. Alongside him is Sébastien Gils, a seasoned musician who’s journeyed through genres from punk to folk, garage to post-rock. He  serves as the bassist/vocalist, and together with Antoine, they share songwriting and lyric duties, their longstanding collaboration resulting in an intuitive musical relationship that resonates in Invisible Men’s unique sound. 

Julien Liphard, who brings a Death/Thrash-Metal sensibility to the group with his relentless, brawny drumming, discovered a shared love for Red Fang with Antoine in their remote French village. Spying a sticker of the band on Antoine’s car, Julien left a note that read, “Hey, someone else here listens to Red Fang? We need to meet!” 

During the band’s first rehearsal, they found Christophe Cosson sprawled on Julien’s couch after an all-night gaming session. Right then, they offered him the roles of guitarist and backup vocalist, and he’s been with them ever since, delivering rhythmic guitars and harmonious vocals. 

Invisible Men took to the studio, and the result was nothing short of spectacular. Their debut 15-track album, “Re:Bored,” is a journey through the ruins of heartbreak, addressing the struggles of loss, the necessity of adaptation, and the power of resilience against the backdrop of our relentless modern world. 

Invisible Men is more than just a new band. They represent a convergence of seasoned musicians with years of shared experience and a passion for creating powerful music.
