Jane N’ The Jungle – Wasteland

After the critically acclaimed extended play release called Ocean Creatures, and many excellent singles like Tonight, Little Blue (Eyes Cursing You), Animal, Lucky 7, Touble, Ain’t No Other Way, Dirty Dog, Metal Ghost, and Raw As A Jewel, Phoenix-based group Jane N’ The Jungle returns with another exceptional track that will unquestionably appeal to all the alternative rock fans. Wasteland is their first composition this year that serves as an appropriate follow-up to their previous works, but it also carries many innovations in songwriting, composing, and producing. The song explores the fundamentals of alternative rock, but it also offers some vital elements borrowed from other similar styles, such as grunge, stoner rock, hard rock, and classic rock. Therefore, Wasteland resonates with everything you dearly love about rock sound, plus even more.

You’ll immediately notice how powerful, confident, and sincere vocal performance leads your listening apparatus throughout the entire composition. Jane perfectly balances between low, mid, and high notes, and you’ll also hear how her flawless vocal harmonies perfectly match these orchestrations. Of course, this song wouldn’t sound this good without a comprehensive collection of guitar maneuvers based upon arpeggiated and regular chord progressions, riffs, melodies, solos, and other virtuosities. The equally complex warm-sounding low-end notes lurk beneath the guitar channels, and Wasteland wouldn’t sound so profoundly heavy without these basslines. It’s nearly mindblowing how guitar and bass perfectly fit together in the mix, and both instruments are solely responsible for the massive ambiance. You’ll also hear how profoundly dynamic, well-accentuated, skillfully performed rhythmic sequences keep all the beforementioned orchestrations in line. Jane N’ The Jungle sound like unstoppable machinery that could tear down everything in the broader radius, and their latest single is a must for anyone into powerful, heavy, flawlessly assembled alternative rock music. The single is available on all streaming services.
