California hardcore punk band Scowl have been on an absolute whirlwind surrounding the release of the EP Psychic Dance Routine, which dropped April 7th on Flatspot Records. Just this year the band hit the stage at Coachella and Sick New World, did a full US run supporting Show Me The Body, and went to the UK for a string of headlining shows. Today the band announces a massive fall headline tour with dates in the United States and Canada starting on September 8th. Buzzy rockers Militarie Gun will serve as direct support with alt-punk act MSPAINT and hardcore band Big Laugh opening on indicated dates. Tickets are on sale this Friday, May 19th at 10AM local time and can be found at scowl40831.com.
Putting on a frenzied and captivating live show that fully encompasses the alternative meets hardcore nature that is Scowl, this run adds to the band’s lengthy tour plans for 2023. Next week they will head to Australia for the first time on tour with Speed and Sunami, followed by a few west coast US shows with Circle Jerks in July. The band is also slated for a number of festival performances including Reading and Leeds, Back On The Map, Outbreak, Sonic Blast, Furnace Fest, and more. Full dates below.
