Buffalo, NY hardcore band Bad Blood have dropped their second single “716 Bust / Bad Blood” out now. The track stems from their debut EP, The Bad Kind Decides, set for release this Friday on Flatspot Records. Made up of vocalist Scott Vogel (Terror, Buried Alive), guitarists Eric Ellman (They Live, Violent Way) and Mason Hutchins (Violent Way), bassist Greg Vinal (Exhibition) and drummer Nick Terlecky (Violent Way), the band have created a fast, in your face sound with lyrics that deal with the negativities of reality. “716 Bust / Bad Blood” finds a beefy intro leading into a callout on fake conformity.
Taking influence from ‘80s hardcore bands like Warzone and Brotherhood, the band name itself is a nod to Buffalo legendary hardcore band Zero Tolerance’s first 7 inch. The Bad Kind Decides was recorded live with producer Jay Zubricky (Mindforce, Snapcase) at GCR studios and mastered by Will Killingsworth (Orchid) at Dead Air Studios. Having already played a handful of shows, the band will perform in Brooklyn, NY on April 7th at the Flatspot World pre-show alongside Outburst, Violent Way, Kharma and more, and have a show in hometown Buffalo, NY the next night with Chokehold and more.
The Bad Kind Decides is available for preorder now via Flatspot Records.
