Moonlight Saints – Bottom Again

It has been a while since we had a pure hard rock band on our pages, and what’s a better way to start the week than with some good music? Bottom Again is a debut single by Moonlight Saints, a Brookfield hard rock trio that bursts with sheer quality right from the start. As soon as the song commences, you’ll realize these guys are not joking around with their music. Bottom Again embraces all the finest properties of the late sixties and early seventies hard rock sound, cleverly decorated with subtle touches of classic rock, stoner rock, grunge, and alternative. It’s such a treat you surely don’t want to miss.

Maybe Bottom Again bursts with the sixties and seventies rock aesthetics, but this song also resonates with some of the latest trends in music production. You’ll immediately notice a profoundly detailed, abrasive, fuzzy riffs that define the ear-appealing ambiance of this track. The band skillfully glued warm-sounding basslines to these riffs, and both instruments shine bright in the mix with so much precision and power. Of course, nothing would sound so melodic without flawless vocal harmonies, which in this case, come like a cherry on the top. The energetic, fast, thoughtfully arranged guitar solo is another neat addition to this song, and you will love it if you’re into those sonic maneuvers.

The drummer delivers a dynamic rhythmic performance that keeps the remainder of orchestrations in line but also uplifts this song on an entirely new level with all the accentuations, enhancements, decorations, and other percussive acrobatics that define all the best rock songs. Bottom Again deserves your utmost attention, and there’s no doubt you’ll enjoy this composition if you’re into pure rock music. The single is available on all streaming platforms.
