Norwegian noisers Hammok are the latest addition to the Loyal Blood Records family and their bullish and energized hardcore/noise-rock sound fits like a glove in the label’s eclectic and irreverent catalog.
The trio’s debut EP “Jumping/Dancing/Fighting” shows a band with a lot to get off their chests. They sound pissed, frustrated and rebellious, and play their instruments with a nasty intensity and nihilistic ferocity. Imagine a mix of Unsane, Chat Pile and Pissed Jeans and you’ll get a pretty good idea of how these youngsters sound like.
