The noise rock trio torpedo shares the listening of « Hell », a first song of their new album. Orpheo_ Nebula will be released on September 16 by Broken Clover Records.
Take the filthy foundations of a metallurgical plant crisscrossed by freight trains and a world that just started to lock up. That’s the picture in which torpedo recorded their second album. Orpheo_ Nebula revolves around six poetic texts from which an epic piece is born ; its seven parts interspersed with noise. Combination of noise rock, industrial, 70’s influences, flirting with sludge, some drone waves, feedback in
its different modes of production ; the psychedelism of words, sometimes spoken, sometimes spat or howled that every now and then ventures to caress grindcore.
The stream of the album sails in always new waters. « Hell » is hovering on a dark and raw riff. It can be listened to on the group’s bandcamp: https://torped-cyclope.bandcamp.com
The album finds its place at the other end of the world, on the Broken Clover Records catalog (https://brokencloverrecs.bandcamp.com) in San Francisco.
Orpheo_ Nebula’s release is scheduled for September 16, 2022.
