Buffalo quartet Until I Wake — vocalist Cody Johnson, bassist Ryan Ridley, guitarist August Geitner, and drummer Alex Curtin — have shared the video for their explosive new single “INSIDE MY HEAD.”
Watch the clip, which finds the band performing and knuckling down on their instruments, HERE.
“Inside My Head” is a rager that explores the emotional aftermath of a bad relationship. “It looks at the struggles that come from trying to find closure,” the band explains. That universally relatable message is encased in slow, melodic verses, fierce riffs, and an explosively catchy chorus. It builds up to a massively heavy breakdown plunked in the middle of the track. “Inside My Head” will do just that to the listener — it will take up residence in your brain for days at a time, thanks to its many hooks. The song shows off the band’s ability to be as heavy and hard as it is melodic and memorable.
Until I Wake, who signed to Fearless Records in 2021, have been steadily bubbling under in the hard rock scene since their formation in 2019. Thanks to its crunchy, guitar-driven anthems, the band has already tallied 12 million global streams to date and found itself on Spotify’s New Core, New Metal Tracks, and New Blood playlists, in addition to the song “Mixed Signals” being featured in SiriusXM Octane’s Test Drive. With early believers on board at tastemaker publications like Alternative Press and Kerrang!, and tours with Attack Attack! and Crown the Empire under their belt, Until I Wake are primed to take a leap forward into the rock stratosphere.
