Norwegian musician Elias Pellicer releases his debut EP on October 23 via DECLARED GOODS. Written during his jazz percussion studies, the record reimagines the lush, intricate arrangements of late ‘70s and ‘80s New Wave, drawing inspiration from XTC, Echo & The Bunnymen, and Joy Division. Pellicer composed every note, blending strings, saxophone, and synth-driven layers with heartfelt honesty. Featuring avant-garde vocalist Bård Bratlie, the release channels a Morrissey-like dramatic flair. Available digitally and on 45 RPM vinyl, EP showcases Pellicer’s striking ability to merge pop sophistication with orchestral depth and jazz-trained precision.
