Portland rockers The Macks are set to unleash their new album Bonanza on September 25 via DevilDuck Records and Monotone’s Fullaway. Known for their relentless DIY energy, the band refuse to overthink or overproduce, choosing instead to capture lightning in a bottle. Bonanza arrives after just a month of preparation, a rock-solid example of their philosophy that rock should be immediate, raw, and alive.
Over the past decade, The Macks have cultivated a devoted following in Portland, celebrated for their ferocious live shows and uncompromising commitment to real rock ‘n’ roll. Described as “a collection of miscellaneous rock that could only have been crafted by this bull-headedly sincere troupe of desperate artists,” the album doesn’t just critique a broken world, it builds a new one on its own terms. The record’s final single, Cypher Sore Eyes, sets the tone before the band embarks on a North American tour with Japan’s legendary Acid Mothers Temple.
