Indie-pop duo Queen Anne have released their new single “Lexi Loves Me,” a track that dives into emotional ambiguity with a dark yet infectious pull.

Frontwoman Katie Silverman describes it as an exploration of discomfort rather than narrative: “It’s about that sick, desperate feeling in the pit of your stomach more than the specifics of a relationship. To me, it’s about someone pulling away because they’re in a metaphorical affair with their own mental health. But sure, ‘Lexi’ could also be a real person.”

Following recent releases “Real Enough” and their cover of David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance,” the track further establishes Queen Anne’s blend of 80s-inspired pop, postmodern edge, and introspective lyricism. Silverman, also an actress recognized from New Girl, Pen15, and The Exorcists, brings a cinematic quality to her songwriting, while producer Sandy Chila layers it with atmospheric depth.
