UK-based pop punk upstarts Goldstate return with their boldest statement yet — the explosive and hook-heavy new single “Nothing To Lose”, dropping June 27 via Punkerton Records. Featuring scene veterans Jaret Reddick of Bowling For Soup and Thomas Nicholas of the Thomas Nicholas Band, the track blends nostalgic pop punk with modern-day emotional candor and melodic punch.

A cathartic anthem born from a chaotic night out, “Nothing To Lose” finds frontman Ben Pritchard reckoning with the aftermath of a messy breakup — and his own role in it. The track channels equal parts angst and energy, fusing driving guitars, singalong-worthy choruses, and just enough self-awareness to land its emotional punches.

“The whole song is basically a musical tantrum,” says Pritchard. “But, like catchy.”

Co-produced by Sam and Joe Graves at Innersound Audio, the single showcases Goldstate’s sharp songwriting and collaborative spirit, pulling in both Reddick and Nicholas to amplify the track’s stadium-sized hooks and heartfelt delivery.

“‘Nothing To Lose’ is about what happens when you hit emotional rock bottom and realize the problem might’ve been you,” Pritchard continues. “It’s the sound of confronting your own mess, taking accountability, facing people who now hate your name, and choosing to grow anyway.”

Blending modern pop punk energy with early 2000s heart, Goldstate has quickly established themselves as a fresh voice in the UK’s punk scene. The band — made up of Ben (Vocals)James (Guitar)Jez (Guitar), and Amy (Drums) — brings touring experience from previous projects and an undeniable passion for crafting songs that connect. Vocalist Ben Pritchard is also the co-founder of BSB TV, a platform dedicated to supporting alternative music, giving Goldstate a unique industry-savvy edge.
