“Konstrukts” is an honest description of the songwriting and recording process that resulted in this release’s instrumentals. Parts came to mind and were put to hard-drive in the moment. Others were added with the goal of doing just enough but not too much. Final mixes were sequenced to create a continuous flow. If the 1981 “Testcard EP” by Young Marble Giants can define a genre, then the “Konstrukts Vol 1 EP” would like to join that club.
