Tide Bends Share “Grasshopper” From ‘Say Yeah’ EP

New Jersey rock outfit The Tide Bends, signed to Asbury Park’s Mint 400 Records, are proving that great music has a timeless shelf life. Their standout track “Grasshopper” from the Say Yeah EP continues to climb streaming charts over two years after its initial release. Earning comparisons to The War on Drugs and Sam Fender, the track perfectly pairs heartfelt, American heartland songwriting with a relentless Brit-rock motorik pulse and massive guitar stacks.

Having famously shared the stage at Sea Hear Now 2025—where Flavor Flav played an impromptu opening set for them—the band is now looking toward the future. “Grasshopper” serves as the perfect sonic bridge connecting their origins to their highly anticipated new EP, arriving later this year. The upcoming project promises to steer their ever-present groove into exciting, Madchester-inflected dance-rock territory. Dive into “Grasshopper” on all streaming networks now.
