Formed by San Diego music veterans with roots in punk, metal, and electronic scenes — and featuring members of Amenity, B-Side Players, Hauntu, Ilya, Audio Addiction, and Crushed on You — the band channels influences ranging from horror film scores to 1980s dance music, forging a sound that is both cinematic and confrontational. The result is a genre-blurring collision of darkwave, synthwave, and industrial-leaning heaviness that feels as immersive as it is unrelenting.
Released via Futureless, Dead Before Dawn unfolds like a soundtrack to an unseen nightmare — pulsing with tension, atmosphere, and raw energy. Across its six tracks, the EP moves between eerie restraint and explosive intensity, building a world that is as hypnotic as it is oppressive.
Entirely instrumental, Dead Before Dawn leans into mood and movement over words, allowing each track to function as a vivid, cinematic experience. It’s a record built as much for late-night drives and dark rooms as it is for high-volume immersion.
