SNEERS. release the first single and video, ‘To My Serpent, You’ from the forthcoming Xui Xui produced album ‘(Don’t Quit Before) The Miracle’.
SNEERS. are a female-fronted music project led by Italian singer and guitarist M. Greta Blaankart, alongside drummer Leonardo O. Stefenelli. Originally formed in Berlin and later relocating to Rome, SNEERS.’ music is a devilish, hallucinatory journey into the depths of human despair, all brought to life by the raw, emotional intensity of Blaankart’s lyrics.
Their work, marked by blood-soaked poetry and luminous melancholia, serves as an ode to spirituality and guilt. SNEERS.’ musical exploration of heaven and hell was best documented on the band’s 2018’s studio album,”Heaven Will Rescue Us, We’re the Scum,We’re in the Sun”, with the studio collaboration of Kristof Hahn from Swans at the lap-steel guitar and in Tales For Violent Days (2022) produced by freddie Lee from Father Murphy.
After a four-year silence, SNEERS. resurface with renewed intensity. Their new work, (Don’t Quit Before) The Miracle, marks a pivotal chapter in the band’s trajectory and is produced by experimental icon Jamie Stewart / Xiu Xiu and is set for release on God Unknown Records.
