Portland-based post-indie-rockers The Doubt have announced a new three-song EP, set to be released one track at a time throughout the early months of 2026. Following their 2024 LP It’s All a Joke, the band has fully embraced their DIY roots by self-producing and self-releasing this project via their own label, Tralfamadore Records.
The first single, “Can I Be?”, arrived in early February as a sentimental, psychedelic ballad. The track transitions from a thin, “tin-can” guitar intro into a spacious verse that reminisces about the hopefulness of youth. Frontman B.R. Mount leads the band through a punchy, groove-heavy chorus that balances nostalgia with vibrant energy. Fans can expect the remaining tracks to drop as spring approaches.
