Kansas City duo MaceMouth has released its video from “Zombies.”

“Zombies” is the third release off of the forthcoming partydeathrock EP by Kansas City’s MaceMouth. The song was recorded and mixed with Paul Malinowski (of the band Shiner) at his studio Massive Sound. Self-released on the bands own label, TheeAudioAuxiliary, partydeathrock will feature four songs.

According to the duo, “Zombies,” at its core, is a protest song. “MaceMouth doesn’t typically delve into politics lyrically, as the band views their music more of escape from such things, but often times these sentiments are inescapable, especially for a brown person living in America. The brutality that people face at the hands of police and federal agencies is an absolute injustice and abuse of power, and more often than not, that abuse is directed at people of color. Lyrically the song expresses an outcry for the fear and paranoia the people of the United States face every day at the hands of our crooked government.”
