Fishbone, the genre-defying Los Angeles legends, are officially releasing their explosive live cover of Alice in Chains’ “Them Bones” on December 19. Originally recorded in 2020 for MoPop’s Founders Award benefit, this performance is a historic milestone: it marks the only public appearance of the original band lineup together since 1993. Captured during the height of the lockdowns, the one-take performance was sparked by a reach-out from Alice in Chains themselves. Combining funk-punk energy with grunge grit, Fishbone’s rendition is a powerful tribute that celebrates a deep connection between two iconic 90s touring partners.
