Swiss musician Thomas Schmidiger, aka Tender Ender, has released his debut solo album, Black Swan, today via A Tree In A Field Records. Described as “doomsday pop,” the music is opulent, cynical, and soothing, filled with violins and a glowing crooner’s voice. The album, which seems to have “fallen out of time,” is a lavishly decorated fever dream close to the edge. Schmidiger returns to his inspirations—piano and strong melodies—creating a unique, melodramatic sound that leaves you wondering where you wake up.
