Dim Prospects is back to a five-piece and singing in German again, delivering hardcore punk with heart and soul. Lyrically, they dissect the idiocy and everyday madness of a self-proclaimed “normality” shaped by conservatism and right-wing extremism. The band exposes the stupidity of our times and shouts back at the majority with a knowing smirk. Good punk has always been able to do both, and Dim Prospects proves they won’t be running out of topics anytime soon.
