London-based producer and singer-songwriter Liza Lo has shared an pensive new single, “He is, I am,” following her critically acclaimed debut album Familiar. The stripped-back folk song, recorded direct to tape, explores the quiet doubts and withheld honesty in a fading relationship. Drawing inspiration from Nick Drake and Joni Mitchell, the single carves her own intimate sound. Arriving ahead of her UK headline tour and anticipated Stateside debut in March, the track perfectly mirrors the season’s reflective insularity.
