Bay Area band Bliss Abyss, featuring scene veteran Peter Wallner (Wax Idols, Culture Spy), has released their new single, “Star.” The song offers the first glimpse of a forthcoming album and is meant to spark hope, urging listeners to embrace their true selves. Bliss Abyss masterfully fuses shoegaze haze with post-punk urgency, creating a sound that is sometimes dark and angular, sometimes bright and jangly, and always guided by Wallner’s refined melodic instincts.
