Dream School Dropout Share New Single “Rats In The City”

Psychedelic dream-rock collective Dream School Dropout unveil Rats In The City, a collaboration between King Black Acid’s Daniel Riddle and France/Iceland duo Birdie Moon and Daisy Rae Swann (aka Birdie Swann Sisters). Born from soundtrack work and a love of analog instruments, the project blends cinematic ’80s dream pop, lush psychedelia, and ’70s soul-inflected rhythms. With vintage synthesizers, lo-fi guitars, and rich orchestrations, Rats In The City offers a modern yacht-rock shimmer wrapped in a dreamy, cerebral atmosphere. The single highlights the trio’s transnational collaboration and experimental spirit. Available now on streaming platforms, it’s a must-hear for dream-pop fans.
