Cork’s rising stars Cardinals have announced their much-anticipated debut album, Masquerade, due February 13th via So Young Records.

Tracks like Anhedonia and The Burning of Cork bristle with cynicism and discontent, while others shine with vulnerability, reflecting the band’s love of vinyl-era contrasts. From folk honesty to goth-rock theatrics, Masquerade is an album of tonal shifts and bold ambition.

Formed from family and friendship, Cardinals—brothers Euan and Finn Manning, cousin Darragh, plus Oskar Gudinovic and Aaron Hurley—are fast becoming leaders in Ireland’s independent rock scene. Following their acclaimed EP and singles, the title track Masquerade arrives today, offering a glimpse into their most intimate work yet.

The band have also shared details of a headline tour across mainland Europe in late November to round off the year.
