Djo Released ‘The Crux Deluxe,’ Companion To Acclaimed Album ‘The Crux’

Joe Keery’s musical project Djo surprises fans with The Crux Deluxe, a 12-track companion to his acclaimed album The Crux. Out now via AWAL, the record expands on themes of dissolution, resilience, and transformation, continuing the sonic journey Keery crafted alongside longtime collaborator Adam Thein. Written during the same sessions as The Crux and completed this summer, the album mirrors its predecessor’s length while offering fresh layers of late ’60s/’70s-inspired pop instrumentation.

Following massive milestones, platinum certifications, global festival debuts, and critical acclaim, Djo frames The Crux as a metaphorical hotel at life’s crossroads. With The Crux Deluxe, the story continues into nighttime, exploring transience, yearning, and renewal.
