Dublin-born songwriter Ailbhe Reddy is excited to release “Align,” the first single from her forthcoming album due in early 2026 on her new label home Don Giovanni Records.
On the song, Reddy shares: “It’s about reaching the point where you can genuinely wish someone well, even if it still stings. Accepting that from here on out, you’ll only watch their life from afar and that, somehow, time might soften the hard feelings.”
Known for capturing the quiet intensity of life’s in-between moments, Reddy has earned acclaim for her two previous albums, Personal History and Endless Affair, the former nominated for the Choice Music Prize and has been praised by outlets including The Guardian, Pitchfork, and The Times. She has also performed at Glastonbury, SXSW, The Great Escape, and other major festivals, steadily building a loyal audience drawn to her honesty and emotional precision.
With “Align,” Reddy leans further into her gift for making the personal feel universal, offering a first glimpse of what’s to come on her anticipated third album.
Reddy will perform at The Lexington in London on April 21, 2026. Tickets are on sale now.
