Indie-rock outfit Whitehall has released the highly anticipated new album National Finals Rodeo, marking the next bold chapter in the band’s creative evolution. The focus track, “Breakdowns,” is a gripping anthem that perfectly encapsulates the band’s signature blend of raw emotion, jangly guitars, and unshakable hooks.

“‘Breakdowns’ is what comes from hitting the proverbial wall—it’s the feeling at 10pm when you’re grinding on a project that seems to never end,” the band shares. “This song came from a little humming after a long day like that when I was emotionally spent. Writing it out helped me to resolve my day, name that feeling fully, and ultimately move forward, knowing that I had closed the book on the feeling.”
Following the buzz of singles “Malibu #2,” “Come Visit,” “Baby Steps,” and “Fires in Canada,” National Finals Rodeo arrives as Whitehall’s most vulnerable and expansive record yet. Out now via ENCI Records, the album positions the Brooklyn-based four-piece as one of modern rock’s most vital new voices.
