From dimly lit dive bars to desolate desert highways, Los Palms deliver a soundtrack soaked in vintage fuzz. The Adelaide, Australia-based band recently announced their self-titled sophomore album, due out August 29th on Fuzz Club and leaning further into their signature “desert jangle” sound, with ’60s garage, spaghetti western and modern psych influences. Today, they share the third single ‘Way Too Cold’ alongside an accompanying music video.

About the new single, the band says: “Way Too Cold is four minutes of sunburnt ‘60s jangle, stomping choruses, and a dark psych detour before slamming back for the kill. The video rips through Los Palms’ South Australian stomping grounds, A tribute to the country towns and rugged coastlines carved into the band’s DNA.

This record perfectly captures the rawness of Los Palms, elevated by lush, full production that lets every tremolo-drenched guitar and reverb-loaded vocal shine. It’s an immersive journey and a bold step in the band’s evolution.

‘Los Palms’ arrives following their 2022 debut ‘Skeleton Ranch’ and the standalone ‘From The Shadows’ (2024) and ‘Cruise’ (2025) singles and videos, both premiering on ABC Rage. The Palms have shared stages with the likes of The Murlocs, Babe Rainbow, L7 and The Growlers to name a few, and also toured over in Europe for the first time in 2024.
