Formed in downstate New York in late 2018, Neckscars are Will Romeo, Justin Parish, Colin Harte and a rotating cast of drummers. Over the past two decades the members have been cutting their teeth in the DIY scene and have gathered to form this expansive collaboration. The result is a classic punk rock’n’roll sound that doesn’t lean too hard on nostalgia and standard formulas. You can hear them echo influences ranging from Seaweed to Dead Boys as they embrace their unbridled enthusiasm. Neckscars released their debut album ‘Don’t Panic’ in the summer of 2021 on Sell The Heart Records in the US and Engineer Records in the UK.It was recorded by John Naclerio and Sean-Paul Pillsworth during the pandemic. Following the release Neckscars have contributed to various compilations including a four way split with American Thrills, Tired Radio and Nightmares for a week, which was co-released by Sell the heart, Wiretap, Rat Terror and Engineer Records. Also a 12 inch vinyl split with Moonraker and Neckscars, released in the autumn of 2023, offering three songs from each band on Sell the heart, Bypolar and Engineer Records.
