Following their debut single “Calling,” Swimming Pool return with “Sunday,” a gently haunting track that delves into the quiet absurdities of superstition and everyday ritual. The song marks the second release from their forthcoming EP Line Cuts, out August 15 via Fog & Co.
Formed by Klyl Shifroni and Seraina Fässler, the duo spans The Hague and Zürich, blending experimental electronics with emotionally raw songwriting. “Sunday” showcases their distinctive mix of ambient textures, soft vocal layers, and minimalist structure, a hallmark of their dreamy bedroom pop aesthetic, rooted in both intimacy and quiet dissonance.
With influences ranging from digital synthesis to lo-fi field recordings, Swimming Pool crafts emotionally resonant music that feels both fractured and warm. “Sunday” finds strength in subtlety, unraveling the illusions we build to cope with uncertainty. The single is now streaming on all major platforms.
