Stratus, the veteran hardcore band from Šibenik, Croatia, originally formed in the early ‘90s and reactivated in 2020, have unleashed their most authentic and punishing material yet. Titled Hard Core, the new album is a powerful statement of intent—a no-compromise fusion of punk and metal that delivers 10 excellent tracks
Now featuring original members Tomi, Stipe, and Ante, joined by drummer Jere (known from Disaster, Cult of Reborn, and Zlobnik), Stratus distill decades of underground aggression into a cohesive, high-impact release. Unlike anything they’ve done before, Hard Core captures the band’s raw energy and refined vision, honed through years of DIY ethos and sonic experimentation.
Hard Core is available now digitally, and for the first time in the band’s history, on vinyl via PDV Records (PDV087). Pre-orders for the LP are open at a special price of €18 before the release date, after which it will retail for €23. Order now via PDV’s official store.
