Hardcore punk supergroup PIG PEN, featuring an explosive lineup of Matty Matheson, Wade MacNeil (Alexisonfire, Gallows), Daniel Romano, Ian Romano, and Tommy Major, have officially signed with Flatspot Records and are set to unleash their debut album Mental Madness on June 27.
To mark the occasion, the band dropped a chaotic and high-energy new video for their debut single “Mental Mentality,” giving fans a taste of the raw, unapologetic hardcore sound that defines their upcoming record. The video, filmed by Mitch Fillion, Zack Nash, Brandon Di Luca, and Kenneth Roy Meehan, captures the unfiltered spirit of a band born to cause a chaos.
Mental Madness is set to be one of the most anticipated releases in the modern hardcore punk scene this year, and with this lineup, it’s no surprise why. Expect unrelenting riffs, primal screams, and a sound that doesn’t hold back.
