“Arrivano le Giraffe” is the first single and opening track from Sing-A-Beast, the debut solo album by Miriam, stage name of Mariella Modonese, and is its most choral track seeing all musicians involved in the work : in addition to Miriam, Fabrizio Modonese Palumbo and Paul Beauchamp but also Il Bue on cymbals and Francesca Sebastian Puopolo on flute. The video is a music box of images created by director Omar Bovenzi from Miriam’s original illustrations.
The album was recorded and mixed by Paul Beauchamp at O.F.F. Studio in Turin and mastered by James Plotkin. It will be released on May 9 on the Italian experimental music label Dissipatio and is already available for pre-order on Bandcamp.
