Musiikkiteatteri Hukupuklus has kept its upcoming album in drawer around 12 years and it finally has reached the daylight! The album will be the last one the collective will ever publish. There’s been many turns within the road – accordions, harmonicas, pianos, assembly expansions, cooperation partners, concerts in two decades and many many nonverbal melodies. The last harvest will be escorted outdoors the same way everything started in 2009 – alone.
”It’s really a relief to get this finally done – which in all its silence has troubled the mind. Not very actively tho. It’s also soothing to say that you’re not going to hear about us ever again! We hope that our music has brought you joy, inspiration, liberation and we hope from the every pit of our hearts that it will caused all those things also in future. I really like to bow and thank everybody who has been along with this trip! The tunes will never fade, the authors just fall silent.
Now everything’s done, everything’s given. So be well – farewell.”
