The Promised End Released New Single And Lyric Video “A Long Shadow”

Boston, MA’s The Promised End will release their new single “A Long Shadow” on February 21 via Sound Investment Records (US)/Gunner Records (Germany). The track will be accompanied by an animated lyric video from the talented visual artist Bizhan Khodabandeh.

Regarding the track the band states, “We are the malcontents of manufactured consent. In opposition, as one voice of dissent.”

The Promised End will enter the studio to record the follow up LP  to 2024’s “For The Buried And The Broken” on April 18th.

2024 was a banner year for Boston hardcore outfit The Promised End. In February the band released their debut full length record “For The Buried And The Broken” on Sound Investment Records (US) and Gunner Records (Germany) and received critical praise for its energy,authenticity and thoughtful lyrical content.

In August/September of 2024 the band embarked on their maiden tour of Europe where they played 16 dates in Germany and Poland. Returning home the band was nominated for a 2024 Boston Music Award where they were in the company of such nominees as Converge, The Dropkick Murphys and Fiddlehead. The band has been busy writing their sophomore album and is scheduled to return to the studio on April 18th to begin recording. November 2025 will see the band returning to Europe for another tour which is being organized and promoted by CityRat-Records booking agency and Gunner Records.

On February 21st 2025, The Promised End drop the new single “A Long Shadow” available digitally on all streaming services and accompanied by an animated lyric video from the talented visual artist Bizhan Khodabandeh available on YouTube.
