Paint Bomb is a high-energy 4-piece band aiming to rock your socks and get your feet moving. With their colourful stage show and presence, they seek to revive the ska scene in Edmonton the only way they know how – by partying hard and getting the crowd dancing!
Paint Bomb’s lineup consists of Alex Bauer, Eric Siemens, Brass Staggerton & Steve Peck. These musical mavericks met through MacEwan University’s Music Program and bonded over their shared taste in metal, ska and punk music. Highly driven both individually and collectively, the band leverages their musical talent and friendship to bring the party each and every time they take the stage.
Paint Bomb’s latest single “California,” released January 24th 2025, showcases the bands talent and style. Developed at the tail end of 2024, California was written and recorded entirely DIY style in Alex’s garage. The premise for the song is wanting to go to California even if it seems an impossible 1750 mile task. Mixing Ska and Skatepunk, California promises something for anyone who grew up listening to the likes of Sublime, Less Than Jake, Mad Bomber Society, & Planet Smashers.
All proceeds from the single are going to organizations assisting victims of the recent wildfires.
