Celtic Punk titans The Rumjacks are thrilled to share their new album Dead Anthems, out today via FOUR FOUR records! The group have also debut a brand new music video for their single “Eye for an Eye”. The song, shares lead singer Mike Rivkees, “is a commentary on cyclical violence. One side is mad about what the other side did in the past and vice versa. You have a ‘chicken or the egg’ discussion about ‘who started it’ and then when violence breaks out the flames are fanned on both sides.” The band, who’ve just kicked off a big run of dates in the UK and Europe, are also announcing North American summer tour dates. The band’s forthcoming 6th LP follows their 2021 LP Hestia, which was lauded by Kerrang as “the complete package” full of “social commentary, lore and affecting storytelling.” Dead Anthems was recorded in Asbury Park, NJ and co-produced by The Rumjacks Mike Rivkees along with The Bouncing Souls founder Pete Steinkopf, who has lent his talent to albums from artists such as Beach Slang, The Menzingers, and Brian Fallon (Gaslight Anthem).
