Out of Stockholm, Sweden, Naive Men Leading the Blind was formed in late 2022 by Martin Korpi and Niclas Jonsson, former bandmates from The Future of Rock ’n’ Roll and the ska/punk band Brazzaville. Combining distorted guitars and intertwined melodic pop structures with a Nordic melancholy vibe, this track is the first of three planned releases from our forthcoming debut EP.
We can’t get the song out of our heads, and to our minds, it should be interesting to anybody into American 90s-type alternative rock & J. Mascis-like guitars (or maybe just catchy pop with front-leaning drums and loud guitars).
As we’ve just started up and long to get back to playing gigs & tour, our goal with this release and campaign is to get feedback, raise interest in our upcoming releases and start building a fanbase.
If it all sounds like everybody is doing their own thing on this track (which they are), don’t worry, it all starts to come together after a while. There is no point in playing this music at low volume!
