Maskar were born in 2022 in Florence, formed by Stefano Cardone (vocals and lyrics), Iacopo Mati (guitar), Alberto Niccolai (drums), Stefano Pozzarini (bass) and Rino Valente (guitar). They play a robust alt-rock that recalls old school atmospheres, with new wave and post-rock veins.
The EP “It’s Over” comes out in 2024 and contains two original songs: “It’s Over” and “Keine Liebe”, as well as “Il Silenzio degli Innocenti”, a remake of a By All Means song, hardcore punk group belonging to the Italian straight edge scene of the 90s. The piece is included in the compilation “B.A.M. Non Dimenticherò“, released on September 1, 2024, which sees the participation of 12 bands and 13 labels from the Italian hardcore scene.
