Together with SBÄM Records, Street Dogs are reissuing their legendary album “Back To The World” on vinyl for the first time. Feel old yet? Not the Street Dogs! The Boston band led by singer Mike McColgan, co-founder of the Dropkick Murphys, was an integral part of international punk rock for 17 years before taking a break in 2020.
“Back To The World“ was the band’s second album, produced by Nate Albert (”The Mighty Mighty Bosstones”) and featured hits such as ‘You Alone’ and the title track ‘Back To The World’. The album was released in January 2005 via Brass Tacks Records and is an absolute crowd favorite.
But who still has the album at home? Well, since the CD was the most common medium in 2005 before the big comeback of the vinyl record, fans nowadays miss an LP of their favorite album. SBÄM Records is now changing this together with the band by giving “Back To The World” its first vinyl edition! And that’s not all: there will be an exclusive new song on the record! A comeback is in the offing…
The LP will be released in January 2025 and is already available for pre-order via store.sbam.rocks – the splatter edition of it already sold out!
