DeeCracks and Andrea Manges joined forces to honor the legacy of their favorite band, the Ramones, in celebration of their 50th anniversary by covering the bands 1989 album BRAIN DRAIN in it’s entirety. The record is OUT NOW on Striped Records!
The next music video MERRY CHRISTMAS (I DON’T WANT TO FIGHT TONIGHT) will premiere this Sunday at 7 PM (+1 GMT) on Youtube. As with their first music video to I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES, they did not only pay a perfect tribute to the music, they also recreated the original music video of this hit by the Ramones.
What’s so special about this you ask? Well, the leading role is played by none other than the legendary DANIEL REY who was instrumental in the musical output of the Ramones, played bass and guitar tracks on the original BRAIN DRAIN album and co-wrote many songs on this record, including PET SEMATARY.
This project means a lot to them, as this record was very much the most recent release of the Ramones when both Andrea and DeeCracks discovered them and fell in love forever.
